Preparing for EEOC’s Proposed Guidance on Harassment in the Workplace

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently proposed guidance regarding harassment in the workplace and is now considering the public’s opinion. The new guidance addresses three critical areas of the law, including expansion of protected categories under Title VII, virtual workplace harassment, and harassment not directed at the complainant.
