Wendy Tsang Named to Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 2024 Women Worth Watching List
New York, NY—Hoguet Newman Regal & Kenney, LLP associate Wendy Tsang has been named a Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal. The annual award celebrates outstanding women across the globe for their professional and community achievements.
At HNRK, Wendy draws on her experience—which covers insurance coverage disputes, employment discrimination, securities class actions, and consumer protection actions—to counsel clients across the country in their highest-stakes matters. Wendy has played a role in virtually every type of dispute resolution proceeding, from Swiss arbitrations to appeals at the U.S. Supreme Court. Since joining the firm in 2022, Wendy has participated on two trial teams—one a nine-figure insurance dispute, the other a gender discrimination trial that she second-chaired—as well as an international arbitration.
Her experience has been instrumental in three major cases involving Syngenta, one of HNRK’s biggest clients. For example, Wendy helped secure to a groundbreaking ruling from the Delaware Supreme Court last March in an insurance coverage dispute concerning hundreds of millions of dollars of coverage for thousands of product liability claims brought against Syngenta.
Wendy also has a passion for—and steadfast commitment to—pro bono work. She has worked on two successful asylum cases: one helping a Pakistani individual claiming political and religious asylum reunite with their family, and representing another individual claiming sexual orientation asylum from Uganda, where homosexuality is outlawed and punishable by death.
Prior to joining HNRK, Wendy was a litigation associate at Labaton Sucharow LLP. She also previously served as a Judicial Extern in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York under the Honorable Colleen McMahon.
Wendy will be profiled in the Q3 edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal. The full list of 2024 Women Worth Watching honorees can be viewed here.
