Benchmark Litigation Recognizes Partners Helene Hechtkopf and Miriam Manber on Annual 40 & Under List
New York, NY—Hoguet Newman Regal & Kenney, LLP partners Helene Hechtkopf and Miriam Manber have been named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2024 40 & Under List. The annual list highlights the nation’s most notable up and coming litigators who clients and peers have identified as the most promising emerging talent in litigation.
Helene focuses her practice on a wide range of litigation, including commercial, employment, and construction. She has defended employment cases under a variety of state and federal statutes, and her expertise spans race and gender discrimination, disability discrimination, and whistleblower laws. She has represented public and private entities from the start of a case through trial, including first chairing both bench and jury trials, and appeals in both New York State and federal court. Helene serves as HNRK’s diversity chair and was named a Rising Star by the New York Law Journal and a Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal. This is the fifth consecutive year she’s been named to the 40 & Under List.
Miriam has over a decade of experience as a litigator and trial lawyer. She litigates in a wide variety of forums, including administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and state and federal courts. Miriam has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes commercial contract disputes, and has defended employment discrimination, whistleblower, and civil rights class action suits. Miriam was recently a part of HNRK’s winning trial team in a high-profile dispute involving millions of dollars in insurance coverage. Miriam also counsels clients on litigation avoidance, and is a go-to advisor for transactional attorneys seeking a litigator’s perspective on their clients’ businesses. In addition to being named to Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under List, she has been recognized as a Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal and a Rising Star in Litigation by New York Super Lawyers. This is the second year she’s been named to the 40 & Under List.
