Overview
Juan A. Skirrow represents clients in domestic and international commercial disputes. Juan has successfully tried federal cases and has won numerous motions in both state and federal court, both on the papers and after oral argument. He is fluent in Spanish, which has been instrumental in a number of representations involving Latin America.
His experience in litigation includes fraud and negligence claims, investment disputes, employment litigation, breach of contract and fiduciary duty, insurance coverage claims, bankruptcy, and white-collar defense. In addition to his broad litigation experience, he has handled internal investigations, including matters involving alleged FCPA offenses in Latin America.
Juan began his legal career as an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.

Represented a major gaming company in its internal investigation of the purchase of a Chilean subsidiary; conducted interviews of witnesses in Spanish in Santiago, Chile.
Represented Chevrolet automobile dealer in a bankruptcy-related dispute against General Motors Corp.
